JL4 Payment Methods — Every Rail, Its Limits & Its Rules

2 pages on payment methods are held in this section.

JL4 Payment Methods
JL4 GCash
GCash is a Philippine payment rail — regulation: The Electronic Money Issuer category is the one in which Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas licenses it.
JL4 Maya
Maya is a Philippine payment rail — regulation: Registered with Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas both as an Electronic Money Issuer and an Operator of Payment System.

Philippine payment rails are covered on these pages: who operates them, what they are licensed as, and what they publish on limits, fees and settlement. All figures are drawn from the provider’s own domain or a Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas document, since payment numbers get passed around affiliate sites with less care than nearly anything else online.

2 pages, with each covering one entry and none summarising several. Each “not published” field above has an explanation on the entry’s own page, naming the party who would have had to publish it.

Each entry in a paragraph

Each one gives only the essentials, so you can tell at a glance whether that page is the one to open.

GCash, in detail

Operator: G-Xchange, Inc. is a Mynt company, formed as a joint venture by Globe Fintech Innovations and Ayala Corporation.

Published limit: Measured at any given time, it is PHP 100,000 at Fully Verified.

On gambling: A blanket ban on gambling merchants is not in GCash’s own terms and conditions — the nearest general clause bars pyramid and Ponzi schemes.

Maya, in detail

Operator: Maya Philippines, Inc., once named PayMaya Philippines and, at the outset, Smart Money.

Published limit: Starting at PHP 50,000 a month on Basic, the cap is PHP 100,000 at the Upgraded tier, PHP 500,000 for Super Users and PHP 5,000,000 for Ultimate Users.

On gambling: A direct reading of Maya’s e-wallet terms and conditions found no gambling clause, just general prohibitions on illegal activity and anti-money-laundering breaches.

Open the game itself to check payment methods details

On a site like this, payment numbers go out of date quicker than any other kind of content. You can recheck each of these within a couple of minutes:

  1. Skip the comparison page and head to the provider’s own help centre. Limits and terms for GCash, Maya and Grab all live on each provider’s own domain, and every one of the three has been revised within the last two years.
  2. Work out which tier a quoted limit applies to. Nearly all wallet figures going around are top-tier numbers presented as if a new account qualified, yet a new account sits on the bottom tier.
  3. When it comes to InstaPay and PESONet, the BSP FAQ PDFs are the source to use, not a bank. Scheme level is where the per-transaction cap and the fee payer are decided, and a bank’s own page covers only its own charges.
  4. On gambling and payments together, read the provider’s full acceptable use policy. The clearest statement from any of these providers is GrabPay’s prohibition, and it sits in its terms of service rather than in a help article.
  5. Read every figure on these pages as being dated September 2026. That is exactly why each page names the source it was taken from.

The thing most often got wrong here

No single comparable number captures a wallet limit. GCash publishes a cap on the balance you can hold at one time, while Maya publishes a monthly total. They gauge two different things, which is why tables that line PHP 100,000 up against PHP 100,000 as if equal end up comparing a bucket with a tap.

On each page you can see which of those two numbers is being quoted. One is a cap you reach by keeping money in the wallet and the other is a cap you reach by sending it, and no table layout can merge the two.

Using these payment methods at JL4

  1. Sign in at JL4 and open the cashier.
  2. Choose a method from the ones your cashier lists for your account, and look at the limits it displays.
  3. Make sure the name on your JL4 account matches the name on your bank or wallet.
  4. Once the amount is confirmed, keep the reference number safe until your balance shows the change.

FAQ

Among these rails, which ones take a stated stance on gambling payments?

GCash, Maya. GrabPay's position is the clearest and it amounts to a ban: its own acceptable use policy prohibits casino games and sports betting unless the activity is registered with the appropriate government agency.

What explains the absence of any deposit minimum on these pages?

Because a deposit minimum is set by the operator's cashier, not by the payment rail, and no JL4 cashier was checked during research. Anything put in that slot would be made up.

Are these figures current?

No live data feeds these; they were noted down once, in September 2026, and left as written. Because payment providers change limits and fees with no notice, every page names the provider page its figure was taken from, which lets you recheck it.

Is it possible to top up a casino account with GCash?

GCash's own terms have no blanket ban on gambling merchants; even so, BSP ordered every supervised institution to remove in-app gambling links in August 2025, and GCash has blocked thousands of merchants abusing its QR system. None of this adds up to a published statement, one way or the other, about what a licensed casino's cashier does, and this site doesn't offer one.

Among the wallets covered here, GrabPay gets different handling; what is the reason?

Since its own terms of service are the only ones that spell out a gambling prohibition. Saying GrabPay is an easy way to fund a casino account would go against what GrabPay says about itself in its own publications.

Between InstaPay and PESONet, what actually changes for you?

Personal transfers over InstaPay clear in real time at any hour, up to a ceiling of PHP 50,000 per transaction. On banking days PESONet settles in batches, and there is no scheme-wide cap. Transfer size normally picks the channel, since InstaPay's ceiling pushes bigger amounts onto PESONet.

Heading over to JL4?

Your account, your balance and every promotion are held by JL4 itself; this guide holds none of them.
