Published feesUp to PHP 8,000 per month combined, cash-in via selected partners is free, and the excess costs 2 per cent, as stated on Maya’s cash-in page. Because that figure comes from Maya’s own site and was not re-fetched during verification, it carries less weight than the directly read GCash schedule above.

Maya states these as MONTHLY wallet limits. In GCash’s wording, the ceiling applies to the balance you hold at any one point. Each number measures something different, and setting them next to each other is not a meaningful comparison, no matter how often it is offered as one.

Treat the figures here as a snapshot taken in 2026-09. The only up-to-date reference for limits and fees is the provider’s own page, because payment providers revise both and give no notice.

What Maya says about gambling transactions

A direct reading of Maya’s e-wallet terms and conditions found no gambling clause, just general prohibitions on illegal activity and anti-money-laundering breaches. CREDIT CARD terms, which belong to a different product, do include ‘illegal gambling or unauthorized game of chance’ as a restricted transaction and state that the card may be suspended or cancelled. Following BSP Memorandum M-2025-029 in August 2025, Maya also pulled in-app gambling and gaming links. Keeping the two products apart is important, since a credit card agreement’s restriction does not carry over to the wallet.

Verification tiers

  • Basic — You can hold up to PHP 50,000 in the wallet each month and spend up to PHP 50,000 on purchases each day. Both InstaPay bank transfers and Maya-to-Maya sending are off the table at this tier
  • Upgraded — Three items are required together: video selfie, valid ID, verified address. The wallet holds a PHP 100,000 monthly limit, allows purchases up to PHP 100,000 a day, caps sending to a Maya user at PHP 20,000 per transaction and PHP 100,000 per day, and limits InstaPay out to PHP 50,000 daily and PHP 100,000 monthly
  • Super Users — Limits stand at PHP 500,000 monthly for the wallet, and PHP 500,000 daily for purchases and sends. Maya keeps the qualifying conditions for this tier unpublished
  • Ultimate Users — Monthly wallet limit: PHP 5,000,000; daily purchase limit and send limit: PHP 5,000,000 each. Maya keeps the qualifying conditions for this tier unpublished

The published ceiling of Starting at PHP 50,000 a month on Basic, the cap is PHP 100,000 at the Upgraded tier, PHP 500,000 for Super Users and PHP 5,000,000 for Ultimate Users applies to the tier stated above, not to every account.

How fast money actually moves

Maya settles wallet-to-wallet and InstaPay transfers arrive in real time, whereas PESONet takes until the same banking day. That is a description of the rail and not of the casino, because an operator can hold a withdrawal for its own review before it gets anywhere near Maya, and that review is typically the source of any wait.

A per-transaction cap of A per-transaction ceiling of PHP 20,000 for sends to another Maya user and a daily ceiling of PHP 50,000 on InstaPay transfers out, at the Upgraded tier applies, which is why a larger transfer sometimes has to be split.
