JL4 Baccarat Scoreboard: The 5 Roads and What Each One Records

A baccarat scoreboard records past results as roads: the Bead Plate and Big Road log every round, and the Big Eye Boy, Small Road and Cockroach Pig are drawn from the Big Road.

A baccarat scoreboard is the strip of charts beside a live baccarat table that records how past rounds ended. It uses five roads, and this page reads them in order from the simplest to the most derived. The scoreboard belongs to the table, so any table described in how live dealer casino games work can show one, and each table’s help screen carries its own colour legend.

The scoreboard records the past. It does not tell you what the next card will be.

The 5 baccarat roads at a glance

Five roads sit on the board. Each has a different job, and the last three come from the Big Road.

#RoadWhat it recordsDrawn from
1Bead PlateEvery result in order, one marker per roundThe rounds directly
2Big RoadStreaks of Player or Banker, with ties marked on the last resultThe rounds directly
3Big Eye BoyWhether the Big Road repeats the pattern one column backThe Big Road
4Small RoadWhether it repeats the pattern two columns backThe Big Road
5Cockroach PigWhether it repeats the pattern three columns backThe Big Road

Read the colour legend on your table. Player is usually blue, Banker is usually red and Tie is usually green, but the table decides.

Baccarat roads, in the order you read them

The baccarat roads below are the same on every table, and each one builds on the one before it.

  1. Bead Plate. Each round adds one marker, filled down a column and then to the next column. It is a plain log.
  2. Big Road. A run of the same winner stacks down a column. When the winner changes, the next result starts a new column. A tie is marked on the previous result and does not start a column.
  3. Big Eye Boy. It watches the Big Road and compares each new result with the column just before the previous one.
  4. Small Road. The same comparison, taken one column further back.
  5. Cockroach Pig. The same comparison, taken one more column back again.

The three derived roads use small red and blue marks. Red means the Big Road is repeating the earlier pattern, and blue means the pattern broke.

How each derived road is drawn

When a new column starts on the Big Road, the derived road compares the length of the column just finished with the length of the column it is measured against. Equal lengths draw red, and unequal lengths draw blue. Within a column, the comparison uses the same row of the reference column.

RoadReference column
Big Eye BoyOne column back from the previous column
Small RoadTwo columns back
Cockroach PigThree columns back

Your table draws these for you. The point is to know what a red or blue mark records, so a long row of red never reads as a promise.

Using the board without chasing it

The board makes a table easy to follow. It does not change the next deal, because the cards come from a shoe the board cannot see.

  1. Use the Bead Plate to see the order of results.
  2. Use the Big Road to spot streaks and flips.
  3. Treat the three derived roads as pattern history, never as a signal.
  4. Stop at the session limit you set before you began.

Where a scoreboard fits in a fair table

A scoreboard that matches the camera is one sign of an honest table, and a mismatch is a red flag. Check three things:

  1. The newest marker appears after the cards show on camera, not before.
  2. The Bead Plate and the round history agree.
  3. The colour legend is on the table’s help screen.

Read whether a live casino is rigged for every sign to check. Round by round, live dealer baccarat explains how each result reaches the board.

FAQ

What is a baccarat scoreboard?

It is the set of road charts beside a baccarat table that records past results. The Bead Plate and Big Road log every round, and three more roads are derived from the Big Road. They show what has happened, and they do not change the next hand.

What are the baccarat roads?

There are five: Bead Plate, Big Road, Big Eye Boy, Small Road and Cockroach Pig. The first two record results directly. The last three compare the shape of the Big Road with earlier columns.

Do the roads predict the next hand?

No. Each round deals fresh cards from a shoe, and the roads record what happened. Treat them as a tidy history that makes the table easier to follow.

Anong kulay ang Player at Banker sa Bead Plate?

Karaniwan, asul ang Player, pula ang Banker at berde ang Tie, pero tingnan ang legend ng table. Bawat table ay may sariling paliwanag sa scoreboard help screen.
